Volunteering on the Farm …

We dream of doing something wonderful with this little farm of ours! At the end of a long day working on the farm, having only accomplished 3 things on my list of 100, I find myself saying, “What was I thinking?” But with a simple glance out the kitchen window, I can almost see the fields of purple and smell the sweet aroma of lavender in the air. It is as though the field has always been there just begging for someone to spring it to life.

So, here we are at the beginning of our journey, hoping to create something truly amazing and beautiful. Something that will inspire the minds and spirits of all those who visit the farm. And we invite you to take part in this creative process, to receive the gift of being able to visit the farm and know that you helped create the beauty that is Rowley Creek Farm.

We value our volunteers. Volunteer activities may include: Planting and weeding the lavender fields, harvesting lavender, assisting visitors during our festivals. In addition to making a valuable contribution to the farm, volunteers are rewarded with lavender and special discounts in the Lavender Goods Farm Boutique. Volunteers who help out with our major events will also receive a FREE Rowley Creek Lavender t-shirt.

We have officially dedicated Wednesday’s 10am-12pm for volunteers on the farm. Please let us know in advance if you are planning to volunteer as our plans are subject to change.
